Daniels, President, Owner
Fae
Daniels has over 30 years' experience in the field of export regulation
and licensing with particular expertise in the export of defense goods
and technology. She began her career as a procurement manager for the
Australian Defence Forces at the Australian Embassy in Washington DC,
where she later worked in the Defense Movements and Shipping Office.
This experience gave her insight into the responsibilities associated
with the licensing and export of defense goods and technology and the
need for regulatory compliance. She established FD Associates in 1990,
and serves the company as President, and senior consultant. Fae also
provides training in the requirements of the ITAR and the EAR and
assists clients with voluntary disclosures and commodity jurisdiction
requests.
Jenny
Hahn, Vice President, Partner
Since
joining FD Associates in 1992, Jenny has assisted exporters with a
variety of ITAR and EAR export licensing and compliance requirements.
Jenny is our resident specialist in the licensing of IR/NV technology,
as well as the encryption regulations of the EAR. Jenny provides clients
expert guidance in the ITAR and is available to provide company specific
export training programs. Jenny also assists companies in establishing
compliance programs and is the company lead in conducting audits of
client’s export procedures for compliance with the ITAR and the EAR.
Fae and
Jenny are supported by a highly professional staff of experienced
individuals who are the backbone of FD Associates.

ASSOCIATES
Paul
Croarkin, Senior Associate
Paul
joined FD Associates in 2003 after many years with Howmet Corporation,
an Alcoa company, where he was Manager of Export Control. During Paul’s
tenure at Howmet, he was responsible for all areas of export compliance
including audits, training, licensing and voluntary disclosures. Paul is
a specialist in the licensing requirements of the EAR, particularly
exports of “hot section” technology. Paul assists Jenny in conducting
audits of client company’s exports in accordance with the requirements
of the EAR and the ITAR.
John
Herzo, Senior Associate
As a
graduate of Whittier Law School, John brings a legal background to his
employment at FD Associates. During his 8 plus years with the company,
John has dealt with a wide range of complex licensing requirements on
behalf of our clients. John’s primary experience and expertise is the
drafting of ITAR Agreements and Amendments. John also assists clients
with voluntary disclosures. John is well versed in the requirements for
obtaining BATF import permits and assists client companies with these
regulations.
Rohit
(“RJ”) Ajmani, Associate & Licensing Manager
RJ joined FD Associates in 2005. RJ is experienced in the requirements
for shipping and exporting controlled goods and materials in accordance
with the ITAR, the EAR, and the Bureau of Census’ AES requirements.
RJ’s knowledge, gained through his experience at Logistics &
Transportation Services, Inc. (LTSI), a Northrop Grumman company, also
includes classification of products under the Schedule B and Harmonized
Tariff Classification Codes. RJ is our resident specialist in electronic
licensing through the Department of State’s D-Trade and the Bureau of
Industry and Security’s SNAP-R, electronic licensing systems.
